It's been a while since the last time I posted here. I have finally decided to take my blogging to the next step, and start in a site where I have more accountability and I can interact with other fellow bloggers. I hope you visit my new blog here:

Where loner mom goes to write about her world. Loner mom is Spanish, but she lives in Chicago. Which means, among other things, that she has no family closer than 5000 miles, English is not her native language (although she leads a crazy life in half an half), that she feels very lonely sometimes and spends a good chunk of her time planning her next trip home. Because there is always a next trip home. Luckily, she has some good friends, a supportive hubby and a wonderful baby boy who make her life bearable. Some questions she has right now: what language will the baby speak? Because he is leaning towards English on his first ten words... (The Baby is almost 19 months old... so officially he's a toddler, I guess). Will the oven make it until Thanksgiving if I fix it the day before? Will she be disciplined enough to make a blog work? Should she really go to the park? Should she post in Spanish, English, both...? I may even hope to find some answers here.
